COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Deutsch Removable Bridge® has been synonymous with telescopic and conical abutment and bar/sleeve restorations in the United States and abroad since it’s trademark registration and techno-clinical protocols were developed over a decade ago. In this, the first step of the DRB® mini-residency, participants will receive an online education in all steps of the various steps of completing the Deutsch Removable Bridge®.

This course is approved for 5 hours of CE category 670 (Removable Prosthodontics) through Course Lectures and Clinical Participation.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Deutsch Removable Bridge® has been synonymous with telescopic and conical abutment and bar/sleeve restorations in the United States and abroad since it’s trademark registration and techno-clinical protocols were developed over a decade ago. In this 6 day mini-residency, participants will receive hands on education in the digital design and fabrication of the most foundational element of the DRB®, the primary abutment. Hands on hand milling will take place, as well as finishing and polishing and pre work for following steps. Participants will receive hands on education in the Electro-forming Galvano Gold Copings and Sleeves. Participants will learn how to design a variety of tertiary structures and how to prepare them for implementation into the Deutsch Removable Bridge®. Participants will leave this course with an implant analog model, 4 primary abutments, 4 gold copings, and a tertiary structure which they can process as a sample in the processing means of their choice after leaving the course. Each subject will build on the previous topic throughout the week

Arian is a certified dental technician who has studied at the University level in the United States and Canada. From 1992 to 2007 he served as lead technician and general manager for his father’s small, high end dental laboratory, Eurotek Dental Concepts in Fairfield county Connecticut, where he specialized in Swissedent technique as taught by Dr. John P. Frush, DDS. In tandem: Studied from 2004-2006 at George Brown City College, Toronto, ON IDEC program.

In 2007 Arian and his wife Muriel relocated to the Phoenix, AZ area and opened their laboratory, Deutsch Dental Arts, where they specialize in ‘life like rehabilitations’ through a variety of traditional and unique implant solutions, such as the Marius Bridge, and the Deutsch Removable Bridge® which was developed by Deutsch as a telescopic and conical solution for implant cases with moderate to severe complexities. In 2009 Arian and Muriel received specialized training from Daniel LeClerc, T.D. and Dr. Yvan Fortin, DMD in Quebec City, QC and subsequently became the first accredited provider of the Marius Bridge in the southwest United States.

In 2012 Arian trained with Frank Poerschke, MDT in Lutjenburg, Germany and became a certified TiF (Total Prosthetics in Function) trainer.

In February of 2012 he was awarded 1st place in Candulor’s KunstZahnWerk (Art of Dental Prosthetics) North American Competition.

In 2015 he competed in the first WMDA World Mixed Dental Arts Competition in Utah at the Dental Technician’s Guild Annual Symposium, taking 1st place in the removable prosthetics division, subsequently repeating this win by taking 1st place in the 2016 WMDA competition.

In 2016 he completed the 2-day BDT Technique® Master Class utilizing Pekkton® High Performance Polymer injection moulding and the manufacture of the BDT Implant Bridge®.

In 2019 he served as one of 4 judges for the 2019 KunstZahnWerk (Art of Dental Prosthetics) International Competition in Zurich, Switzerland. 2019 completed the Denturist program at the American Denturist College in Bend, OR and received his Denturist Diploma.

He regularly lectures at the Mid Winter Meetings in Chicago, as well as the following; 2013, 2018, 2019 GNYDM (Greater New York Dental Meeting) 2017 The AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) 2016, 2018 The Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting, Atlanta, GA, 2018 The AARD (American Academy of Restorative Dentistry) Chicago, IL, 2020 The IDT Live Event (Inside Dental Technology)

Deutsch also serves as a Key Opinion Leader for GC America, Ivoclar Vivadent, Vita North America, and Merz Dental GMBH. His articles regarding advanced clinical and laboratory techniques for full arch implant solutions, Advanced Complete Denture Prosthetics and the current shortage of skilled dental technicians have appeared in such journals as Inscriptions (the official journal of the Arizona Dental Association), Dental Laboratory Products, Inside Dental Technology, LMT, Spectrum Dialogue, the ACP Messenger(journal of the American College of Prosthodontists), and Labline (Hungary).

He has also served as adjunct faculty at ASDOH Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. Deutsch regularly participates in the AzDA’s (Arizona Dental Association) Donated Dental Services program, and serves as a key opinion leader for various dental companies. 2009-2011 member of the Arizona Dental Association and the American College of Prosthodontist’s Dental Technician’s Alliance.

Muriel Deutsch

Muriel has been a dental technician for over 17 years starting with Eurotek Dental Concepts in Stratford, Connecticut where she specialized in natural and esthetic complete dentures, partials, and precision partials, as well as complex implant rehabilitations.

In 2007 Muriel and her husband, Arian relocated to the Phoenix, AZ area and opened their laboratory, Deutsch Dental Arts, where they specialize in ‘life like rehabilitations’ through a variety of traditional and unique implant solutions, such as the Marius Bridge, and the Deutsch Removable Bridge® which was developed as a telescopic and conical solution for implant cases with moderate to severe complexities.
